The WAKE UP DEAD Morning Show Hailing from his "house of chaos" in Richmond, Virginia, "The WAKE UP DEAD Morning Show" with its creator and host, DJ SpeedKing, first aired on HardRockRadioLive.com in January of 2006. The show has quickly grown in popularity around the world and has a healthy following of rabid fans from Europe, Asia, to Australia and, of course, the Americas! It is even rumored that scientists in Antarctica tune in for the show! The "Morning Show" always features on the half-hour, the "Stories of the Week." This fan favorite is a collection of weird and odd news stories from around the world.  Also featured every week are great interviews with todays current movers and shakers in the metal music world. Interviews are ALWAYS LIVE and are posted on the podcast for later listening! Comedy, fun and commentaries that is politically incorrect. And as always, kick ass metal music that spans all genres!!! About the Show Host: DJ SPEEDKING Rob S. (DJ SpeedKing), started DJing at the insistence of friend and now fellow Internet DJ, Raven the Devil of the Vault of Metal back in late 2005. Rob would call in to The Vault and would talk about everyday life, issues in music and more, adding his own self-deprecating, comedic spin. Fans of The Vault would ask, Who is this guy, and why isnt he a DJ? This guy is hilarious! So, on a lonely Saturday morning in January, 2006, The WAKE UP DEAD Morning Show was born. Over the years, Rob has won over many fans and gained the respect of fellow DJs, bands, and managers as a true professional. With that professionalism, he has also fought to keep the independent spirit of music alive and kicking! After spending nearly 20 years of playing drums and back-up vocals in various thrash and powermetal bands, Rob laid down the sticks for his true calling as an Internet DJ. His interview style is laid back and free. His mic is the stars mic for the 20 or 30 minutes he has them on. Almost like the person being interviewed is just hanging out on the sofa and having a few cold ones. Nothing fancy, just straight plain talk.
